We are very spoilt to have so many large parks and open green spaces in London, and if you don’t make time out of the daily grind you won’t be able to appreciate them to their full glory! We have a handful that are our favourites, but Hampstead Heath comes out on top.
My parents took us there when we were little so I have my own fond memories. Now I get to make new memories and experiences with my own children.
We particularly love the Kenwood House end of the Heath and went last weekend. Harry’s very familiar with it there so he just oozes with excitement as soon as we get out of the car.
Him and Tye run off into the forest and find sticks, puddles, trees to climb and more importantly – hideouts!
It was super muddy and freezing. But what was lovely was seeing the flowers beginning to bud.
The glimmer of hope that spring is on the horizon 🙂
