Scandinavian brand Lindex have just launched their Kids Spring Collection in stores and online with a campaign called ‘This Is Me’- a concept to encourage children to be who they are. Lindex is a Womenswear and Childrenswear brand which has been around for over 60 years! They pride themselves in producing sustainable and affordable fashion.
I went along to the Lindex Press Day to check out the new pieces, of which the designs and prints have been inspired by music and pop culture. Playful prints and bold colours adorn T’shirts and sweatshirts, alongside casual trousers and a strong denim look. I learnt that the children behind the editorial campaign were all encouraged to pick and style their own outfits for the photo shoot, which is exactly the message they’re trying to get across.
Whose kids don’t often want to choose what they fancy wearing? I know both my boys have their ‘favourite’ items, and usually it’s not worth the argument! As parents, we’re encouraging them to be independent, head strong, expressive, comfortable, confident and unique…so why not begin with letting them choose what to wear? I got Stanley to pick out his favourite item from the Lindex boys’ collection and he chose this fun 80’s inspired Rock’n’Roll guitar T’shirt. I should have known really, as he has his ‘air strumming’ down to a T these days!!
Below is a peek at some of the key pieces from the Spring range. Head over to the Lindex website HERE to view the full range and why not take a look at what the Womenswear have to offer!
